“It’s illegal to arrest me here.” – rapper Odumodublvck clashes with police officers attempting to arrest him in a Lagos club

Rapper Odumodu Black clashed with police officers who attempted to arrest him shortly after performing at a Lagos club in the early hours of today, August 29.

In the video clip that has now gone viral, the rapper could be heard telling the police officer that it is illegal to arrest him.

The officer argued that the rapper had been invited but he did not show up.

‘’You do not have any jurisdiction. My lawyers attended to it (the invitation). They came to your office.”

When the officer asked if he was resisting an arrest, Odumodo Black responded saying 

‘’I am not resisting an arrest. There is a motion ex parte that says you cannot arrest me. Why should I follow you? It is illegal”

The police officer, however, said the force had not yet received the ex parte motion.

The reason for the said arrest is yet to be revealed.
