A heated confrontation broke out between a trotro mate and a passenger at Asafo in Kumasi following a disagreement over transport fare.
According to eyewitnesses, the misunderstanding started when the passenger insisted that the fare for the journey was GH₵5, while the mate demanded GH₵10. The disagreement quickly turned into a heated argument, with both parties exchanging words.
The situation escalated to the point where the mate reportedly stopped the vehicle and ordered the passenger to get down before continuing the trip.
