CCTV footage at our disposal has captured the moment a thief broke into a gated house in Akyem Asuom at about 2:45 a.m. today, making off with a pack of Rush Energy Drink and a pack of Bel Cola.
In the footage, the suspect is seen climbing over the wall of the property to gain entry before quickly grabbing the items and heading back the same way he came in, scaling the wall once more to make his escape.
The entire act was reportedly carried out swiftly, with the suspect apparently unaware that his movements had been captured on camera.
The video has since been shared online, with residents in the area expressing concern over the incident and calling for increased vigilance, despite the relatively low value of the stolen items.
