President John Mahama has sent a delegation led by Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah to visit Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi at a private hospital, following earlier reports that the renowned preacher had collapsed and been rushed for emergency treatment.
Photos from the visit show the delegation at the prophet’s bedside, where he was seen wrapped in a blanket as he received well-wishers.
The delegation conveyed President Mahama’s concern for Badu Kobi’s health, along with prayers for his quick recovery.
In response, Prophet Badu Kobi thanked the President for the gesture, expressing appreciation for the support extended to him during his hospitalisation.
The visit comes just days after news of the prophet’s collapse first emerged, with a colleague pastor earlier attributing the incident to high blood pressure and a difficult period the cleric had reportedly been going through.
