Mom and 2-year-old daughter k!lled by lightning

A mother and one of her 2-year-old twin daughters were k!lled by a lightning strike in Florida.
Kenya Glasgow, 31, and her young daughter Kennedi were found lying on the sidewalk in Margate after they were jolted by a bolt of lightning right in front of their devastated husband and dad around 2:30 p.m Sunday, according to the Margate Police Department.
“I saw the whole thing,” Kam Glasgow told The Post through sobs on Monday, the morning after losing his wife and one of his children.

“A bolt of lightning came down, I got hit with the residuals from the ground, and I looked over, and that’s when I saw them,” the shattered dad added.
“S–t can’t be real,” he also wrote on Facebook of the “1 In 1.2 million” freak accident.
First responders rushed to the scene and immediately began treating the victims and performing CPR, according to police. They were rushed to separate hospitals, where the mother and daughter were each declared dead soon afterward.
Kam said that Kenya had been the “love of my life” since they were around 16 and had been together 15 years, tying the knot four years. ago.
“I just lost my best friend,” he wrote of his wife.

“My daughter just lost her best friend,” he added of his surviving daughter, Kensli, who will now be raised without her twin sister, Kennedi.
Kam said that he and Kensli now “have to pick up the pieces and lean on our village.”
Since Sunday’s tragedy, he and his daughter have been feeding off “support from our large family and a vast amount of friends who are still, technically family.”
Kam described his late wife as the “most amazing spirit in this world.”
“My wife had the biggest heart in the world. And only cared about everybody else and never cared about herself. She put everybody before herself. Everybody showed up for everyone. Without hesitation,” he said.
In a heartbreaking tribute he posted on social media, Kam thanked Kenya and Kennedi “for choosing me as your husband and father.”
“My babies didn’t suffer. I’m hurt we are hurt but if you gotten [sic] the chance to feel that beautiful light my wife and daughter brought into your life, cherish it. It’s there for a reason,” he wrote.
“Don’t worry about Kensli and I. I know you both have us covered for the rest of our lives. We will make you both our story and take it one day at time because I know you both are guiding us,” he wrote.
Margate Police said the incident remains under investigation.
