University student stabbed to d£ath after falling out with friend over alleged £3,000 debt and fake Rolex.

A 20-year-old university student was allegedly stabbed to death by a fellow student after the pair fell out over an alleged £3,000 debt and a fake Rolex, a UK court has heard.
Khaleed Oladipo, a third-year cyber security student at De Montfort University, Leicester, was walking home from his girlfriendâs flat on February 3 when he was allegedly attacked by 18-year-old Harper Dennis.
The court heard that Oladipo was speaking to his girlfriend on the phone when he allegedly confronted Dennis, asking why he had attacked him. He later collapsed and was taken to hospital, where he died.
Prosecutors told Leicester Crown Court that the two men had previously been friends after meeting through online gaming and were part of the same Snapchat group.
However, their relationship reportedly deteriorated over money, with Dennis allegedly claiming that Oladipo owed him £3,000.
The court also heard that Dennis had previously received a Rolex from Oladipo to sell, only for the watch to be identified as fake at a jeweller in London. Prosecutors said Dennis was left embarrassed and angry after the incident.
Messages allegedly exchanged between the two showed the extent of their falling-out, with Dennis reportedly telling Oladipo that he would âdedicate his lifeâ to making him suffer.
On the day of the alleged attack, prosecutors said the pair became involved in a brief physical confrontation before Oladipo was fatally injured.
Dennis was arrested later that night at his university accommodation. Police also recovered several knives from his flat and clothing believed to have been worn during the incident.
Dennis denies murder and is claiming self-defence. He is also accused of possessing a bladed article and failing to provide the PIN for his phone.
The trial, which is expected to last three weeks, is ongoing.
