A businesswoman has taken to social media to express her frustration after claiming that her iPhone 17 Pro Max has been overheating for several hours, making it difficult for her to carry out her daily activities.
In a video circulating online, the woman said the device had become extremely hot for about five hours, affecting her ability to use her business WhatsApp account effectively.
She explained that the issue had caused inconvenience because she relies on the phone to communicate with customers and manage her business.
Demonstrating the problem in the video, the woman showed how she places the phone near her car’s air conditioner in an attempt to cool it down before she can use it again.
She expressed disappointment with the iOS device, saying she did not expect such an experience from a high-end smartphone and questioned the performance of the product.
The video has sparked discussions among social media users, with some sharing similar experiences with phone overheating, while others suggested that factors such as heavy usage, software issues, background applications, or environmental temperatures could contribute to such problems.
The cause of the reported overheating has not been independently confirmed, and it remains unclear whether the issue is related to the device itself or other usage conditions.
The complaint has, however, renewed conversations about the expectations consumers have from premium smartphones and the need for manufacturers to address reported technical challenges.
