Adeboye Celebrates Wife Foluke at 78 With Emotional Tribute

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, as she marked her 78th birthday, describing her as his closest companion and a pillar of strength throughout their decades of marriage and ministry.

In a birthday message titled “To My Lover, Foluke,” shared on social media, the 84-year-old cleric reflected on their 58-year journey together, thanking God for her steadfast support, love and commitment to their family and the work of the church, describing their time together as a great journey of walking side by side.

He described her birthday as a special occasion that allowed others to join him in celebrating a woman he has cherished throughout their marriage, saying her companionship had made the responsibilities of ministry easier to bear, and that their shared commitment to God had strengthened their walk together over the years.

Adeboye noted that while millions of worshippers know her as “Mummy G.O.,” he values the privilege of knowing her as his wife, trusted friend and confidante.

He commended her unwavering faith, compassion and sacrifices, saying her influence had positively impacted their children, the RCCG family and countless other lives, adding that their children and the wider family of God had both been blessed because of her love and devotion.

Reflecting on nearly six decades together, he expressed gratitude for her companionship and wise counsel throughout their journey, and prayed for God to continue granting her strength, peace, joy and good health, while asking for even greater fruitfulness in the years ahead.

He noted that after 78 years of her life, 58 of them spent beside him, he still finds new reasons to thank God for her.

Adeboye concluded his tribute by thanking his wife for walking life’s journey with him and wishing her a happy 78th birthday.

Pastor Enoch and Pastor Foluke Adeboye were married in 1967 and are blessed with four children.
