“He was punching me”: Ria Jalesa accuses Beyoncé’s nephew Julez Smith of hotel assault, says she was left with bruises

Twitch streamer and content creator Ria Jalesa has publicly accused Julez Smith, the son of Solange Knowles and nephew of Beyoncé, of physically assaulting her during an encounter at a hotel. Speaking during a recent livestream, Ria described an alleged incident that she said left her with bruises and scratches across her body. She also claimed Smith later threatened her and pointed a firearm at her. The allegations gained attention after Instagram account Livebitez shared clips from her livestream on July 12. As of now, Julez Smith has not publicly responded to the claims, and the allegations remain unverified.
Ria Jalesa says Julez Smith became angry after hotel encounter and allegedly assaulted her
During the livestream, Ria Jalesa said she met Julez Smith for what she described as a casual meetup at a hotel. According to her account, the situation changed suddenly after they spent time together.Ria claimed Smith became upset without explaining why. She said she was confused by his behavior and could not understand what had triggered the change in mood. Recalling the incident, she alleged that Smith grabbed her arm and forcefully threw her off him.She went on to describe what she said happened next, claiming that Smith repeatedly hit her. In the livestream, Ria stated, “He was punching me…all over my body. I have bruises every-fing-where. I have bruises all over my arms, I still got a scar from him fing scratching me.”The streamer also showed what she said was a text message from Smith. In a screenshot displayed during the livestream, the contact was saved as “Beyonce Nephew.” The alleged message read, “You gon try to get me arrested?”Ria further claimed she documented her injuries and still has photographs showing bruises and scratches that she says were caused during the encounter.

In another livestream, Ria shared additional allegations about the same incident. She claimed that Smith damaged her phone and did not help cover the cost of repairs, which she said totaled around $120.According to Ria, the situation became more frightening when Smith allegedly pulled a firearm from a bag and pointed it at her. She recalled, “He grabbed the fing bag, he pulled that motherfing gun out of that motherfing bag and he pointed that btch in my motherf*ing face, and he’s tapping it on my head. Like tapping my head with the gun.”Ria said she was in shock during the incident and could not remember every detail of what was said. However, she claimed Smith threatened to kill her.She also alleged that he pushed her to the floor. According to Ria, she reacted by slapping his back after being pushed. She said Smith then became angry and accused her of hitting him. When she argued that she only responded after being pushed, she claimed Smith insisted that he had not hit her and had only pushed her.Later in the livestream, Ria alleged that Smith began throwing punches at her. She said the incident became so overwhelming that parts of it remain unclear in her memory.The streamer challenged Smith to take legal action if her claims were false, saying, “If I’m lying, just sue me. Take me to court…and prove that I’m lying.” She also said she had photographs of the two together at the hotel and images showing the injuries she claims to have suffered.Ria added that she initially tried to resolve the matter privately before speaking about it publicly. At the time of writing, Julez Smith has not issued a public statement addressing the allegations.
