Young CEOs Gather in Abuja for ACCI Business Growth Forum

Young entrepreneurs, startup founders, and business leaders converged in Abuja for a high-impact networking and enterprise development session organised by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) Young CEOs Forum.

The event brought together emerging innovators and professionals committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable business growth. Participants engaged in strategic networking, business discussions, and practical sessions designed to equip them with the knowledge and connections needed to scale their enterprises.

The programme featured structured networking activities that encouraged partnerships, investment opportunities, and peer-to-peer learning, with attendees exchanging ideas and exploring collaborations across various sectors of the economy.

Speaking at the event, the Vice Chairman of the ACCI Young CEOs Forum, Susan Galadimawa, said creating a supportive ecosystem for young entrepreneurs remains essential to leadership development, innovation, and economic transformation in Nigeria.

She noted that the Forum continues to provide a platform where young business leaders can access opportunities that strengthen their entrepreneurial capacity and position them for long-term success.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Forum, Naijib Waziri, stressed the importance of intentional collaboration and strategic positioning among young entrepreneurs, while the Secretary, Cynthia Otubu, reaffirmed the Forum’s commitment to delivering programmes that provide mentorship, visibility, and business development opportunities.

The session was moderated by Amb. Victor Adetolaju, whose facilitation encouraged active participation and engagement throughout the programme.

A highlight of the event was the participation of Ms. Philips Ego of Sapphire Group, who urged participants to remain consistent in pursuing innovation and building sustainable businesses despite prevailing economic challenges.

She commended the young entrepreneurs for their resilience and encouraged them to continue contributing to Nigeria’s economic development through enterprise and innovation.

The ACCI Young CEOs Forum, which supports entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 30, continues to promote youth participation in Nigeria’s private sector through mentorship, structured networking, and capacity-building initiatives.
