2Baba Visits Benue Community, Speaks Out Over Rising Attacks

Legendary Nigerian musician 2Baba has condemned the violence perpetrated by armed groups suspected to be Fulani herders in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.

Multiple residents of Otukpo have been k!lled in a series of unprovoked @tt@cks since the beginning of 2026.

The musician visited Otukpo-Nobi, a community in the local government area that experienced a fatal @tt@ck on July 12, 2026, which claimed at least ten lives and left several injured.

During his visit to the community, the Benue-born artist expressed sympathy with residents and urged stakeholders to implement immediate solutions to the recurring violence.

He stressed that the scale of k!llings has become untenable and requires coordinated action to prevent further @tt@cks by the perpetrators.

The musician emphasised that addressing the crisis would require collaborative effort rather than individual intervention, calling for collective action to confront the challenge.

He acknowledged the gravity of the situation and expressed the emotional toll of the violence on affected communities.
