The Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe, Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaibu, has joined supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a spirited jama session as party members rally ahead of the planned “Democracy Under Attack” demonstration.
In a video circulating online, the MP is seen among enthusiastic supporters dressed in party colours, singing and drumming as they prepare for the march to the Jubilee House.
The demonstration, organised by the opposition party, is aimed at expressing concerns over issues they describe as threats to Ghana’s democratic principles.
The event has attracted attention as supporters mobilise across the country, with the police expected to ensure security and maintain peace during the protest.
