Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has justified his frequent dancing at public occasions, asserting that his passion for dance does not compromise his gubernatorial duties.
Adeleke addressed criticism of his dancing habit through a social media statement, characterising dance as integral to his family’s cultural identity and lifestyle.
He stated that his family’s disposition toward celebration and merriment has always included dancing as a natural expression.
The governor emphasised that life accommodates distinct activities and seasons, with time allocated for both leisure pursuits and professional responsibilities.
He contended that engaging in dance does not diminish his capacity to execute governmental functions, maintaining that both activities coexist without conflict.
He referenced his administration’s delivery of projects and programmes across multiple sectors as evidence that his dancing has not deterred his performance or productivity as governor.
