Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has revealed how he was able to free Olusegun Obasanjo from prison.

In an interview with reporters, Atiku claimed to have leaked information about an upcoming injection that might have killed Obasanjo.

He claims that they treated the late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua in a similar manner.

Atiku said that he told Obasanjo not to permit the injection as soon as he found out about the scheme.

“I leaked information about an upcoming injection that could have killed Obasanjo, saving his life in prison.”

“They did the same to Yar’Adua, and I advised him not to approve the injection when I found out they were to do it to him.

Atiku declared, “Today, he wants the world to hate me because I opposed his third-term ambition.”

According to news reports, Atiku served as Obasanjo’s vise president from 1999 to 2007.
