DaddyFreeze replies X user who berated Tiktoker Peller’s mum for insisting he gifts her partner money at his wedding

Media personality Daddy Freeze has responded to an X user who criticized popular TikToker Peller for gifting bundles of dollar bills to his family during his Lagos wedding last weekend. 

During the wedding reception, Peller brought out a box filled with dollar notes and began distributing them to his family members. He initially handed stacks to his parents-in-law before presenting bundles to his own mother and father. However, just as he was about to move away, his mother allegedly whispered to him, asking him to also give some money to a loved one identified as Oji. 

An X user subsequently called her out online, claiming that something “just didn’t sit right” with the mother’s actions

‘’Peller’s mum did something at his wedding that I honestly didn’t like, and I pray for protection and more wisdom for that boy.

 

After Peller had given his mum and his parents-in-law money, he went back to the box to pick money to give his dad. While he was doing that, his mum was whispering to him, “Fun Oji na, fun Oji na” meaning, “Give Oji too.”

 

Now, who is Oji? Oji is her new husband-to-be, and he was sitting right there at the same table with them.

 

Peller had to go back to the box again to take some cash for him.

 

I don’t know, but something about that didn’t sit right with me. There should be a level of restraint, especially when it comes to your child’s money. May God protect Peller and give that boy more wisdom and understanding.” the X user wrote

Reacting to the post, DaddyFreeze argued that he sees no wrongdoing here. He averred that Peller did the right thing by honoring his mum’s lover on his wedding day.
