Osimhen Explains Why He Rejected Galatasaray Number 9 Jersey

Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has disclosed his reasoning for declining to adopt Galatasaray’s number nine jersey, electing instead to retain his number 45 shirt for the forthcoming season.

Osimhen joined the Turkish club on a permanent basis following a productive loan period and has rapidly emerged as an integral player within the squad.

Instead, Osimhen chose to persist with number 45, the digit he has worn since his arrival.
