The company characterised the appointment as part of efforts to advance financial inclusion and expand insurance uptake across the nation.

Heirs Life Assurance stated that the decision reinforces institutional commitment to extending financial protection access and accelerating insurance adoption by reinforcing public confidence, consumer education and sustainable financial security throughout Nigeria.

His humanitarian engagement through the Jerry Eze Foundation encompasses housing provision and financial support for disadvantaged communities.

In 2026, he disclosed N1 billion in entrepreneurial grants targeting agriculture, technology and manufacturing sectors.

Prior to full-time pastoral work, Eze developed a career trajectory in development communications including service as Communications Specialist on World Bank HIV/AIDS initiatives and engagement with the United Nations Population Fund.

Eze responded positively to his appointment, characterising the timing as consequential for insurance sector advancement.

He noted that financial security strengthens individuals, households and commercial enterprises in pursuing ambitions with enhanced certainty and stability.

Eze expressed commitment to collaborating with board and management personnel advancing institutional mission of rendering insurance more practical, pertinent and consequential for Nigerian citizens.
