Actress Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend says they meditate after arguments

Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend, Jim Curtis, says the couple has developed a calm and mindful way of dealing with relationship disagreements, by turning to meditation after difficult conversations.
The author and hypnotherapist opened up about their relationship while appearing on Jamie Kern Lima’s YouTube show, explaining that he and Aniston sometimes meditate after arguments to help them reset and approach their issues from a less emotional perspective.
Curtis said the couple also spends plenty of time talking through their problems. On occasion, they have used a four-line refrain to help diffuse tension: “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” Curtis explained that they do not rely on the practice regularly, but said techniques like meditation can help couples remember that life is short and bring the intensity of an argument down.
Aniston and Curtis first sparked romance rumors after taking a trip to Mallorca together last summer. The pair later made their relationship Instagram official in November, when Aniston publicly referred to Curtis as “my love.”
Although they have largely kept their relationship private, the couple has been spotted taking several romantic vacations together in recent months. And while meditation may be helping them navigate disagreements, a little time together on a yacht probably doesn’t hurt either.
