CDCFIB releases list of successful immigration, fire service, NSCDC applicants

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the names of successful applicants who participated in the November 2025 board and paramilitary recruitment Computer-Based Test (CBT).

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by the Secretary to the Board, retired Major General Abdulmalik Jibril.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the agencies involved in the recruitment exercise include the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), as well as the CDCFIB.

Jibril stated that successful applicants from the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise are to proceed to the next stage, which involves physical screening and document verification.

He explained that candidates who sat for the CBT in November 2025 are to visit the board’s official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20 to confirm their status.

“Applicants are required to log in using the application number generated at the time of initial registration,” he said.

“Shortlisted applicants are required to upload their credentials, select a date, and choose a venue for their physical screening.”

The CDCFIB secretary advised all applicants to strictly adhere to the instructions provided on the portal.

He further emphasised that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and warned against engaging with individuals or groups demanding payment.

“The recruitment exercise remains absolutely free. Applicants should not pay any money to any individual, agent, group, or organisation claiming to offer assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venues, or final selection,” he warned.

“The general public is advised to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorised persons claiming to represent the board.

“Kindly note that all official updates shall be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal, as well as approved official communication channels,” he added.

Jibril reaffirmed the board’s commitment to conducting a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines. (NAN)
