Gov. Alia felicitates with APC National Chairman at 58

The Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula.

Alia described the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate Professor Yilwatda’s life of service, intellectual accomplishments, and contributions to the development of Nigeria.

The Governor said: “On behalf of the government and people of Benue State, I warmly felicitate with you, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on the auspicious occasion of your 58th birthday. 

“This milestone provides an opportunity to celebrate your remarkable journey and the valuable contributions you have continued to make to our nation.”

Alia acknowledged the birthday celebrant’s accomplishments in academia and public service, stressing that his experience and dedication have made him a person of considerable value to the country’s democratic development.

He also commended the Zegebar u Tiv for his commitment to the ideals of the APC and his efforts toward advancing the party’s interests and strengthening its structures.

According to him: “As National Chairman of our great party, your leadership carries an important responsibility. 

“I commend your commitment to the ideals of the APC and your continued efforts to promote unity, stability and progress within the party.”

Governor Alia further celebrated Professor Yilwatda as a distinguished Nigerian, whose contributions he said have transcended the boundaries of his immediate community in Kanke and Plateau State.

He stated: “Your journey from Dungung Community in Kanke LG of plateau State to the position you occupy today is a testament to a life defined by service, resilience and achievement. 

“Your contributions have extended beyond Plateau State and have enriched the wider Nigerian society.”

The Governor prayed that God Almighty continues to strengthen and guide the APC National Chairman as he advances in age and continues to serve the party and the nation.

He wished him a memorable birthday celebration and many more years of fulfillment, peace, and impactful service to the nation.
