Imo police arrest woman for allegedly brutalising 13-year-old girl in her care (video)
Police have arrested a woman accused of brutalising a 13-year-old girl under her car in Imo State.
Imo journalist and activist Chidiebube Okeoma, who disclosed this on Thursday, August 6, 2026 said he led a team of police officers to arrest the woman and rescue the battered child.
Videos he shared online show the child with her eyes swollen shut.
According to him, the woman, said to be from Udi, Enugu State, brutally assaulted the minor and damaged her eyes with a stick.
The minor, who is also from Enugu, has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
