APC positioned to take Kebbi to higher height of development — Special Adviser

The Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on Political Affairs, Kabiru Sani Giant, has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a strong political party positioned to take the state to higher heights of development.

The Special Adviser made this known when he spoke with newsmen at the secretariat of the APC on Friday in Birnin Kebbi.

He stated that the current strength of unity within the party would neutralise any disgruntled member of the opposition with a swarm of victorious votes at all levels of elections in the country at any given time.

Giant disclosed that the party hierarchy met to rub minds and had taken precautionary measures against any negative move within or outside the party structure that might derail the collective objectives of the APC and its leadership directed towards maximising the dividends of democracy.

The Special Adviser reminded the people of the state to continue to have confidence in the Administration of Governor Nasir Idris for his purposeful leadership in the areas of agriculture, education, health, and security.

He vowed that Idris would do more when reelected into office in 2027.

He dismissed assertions that the opposition parties were waxing stronger to dislodge him in the next general election, saying they were on a wild goose chase devoid of direction and destination.

He urged them to join the people-oriented party to save their breath and strength.

Giant also revealed that all the party’s candidates who emerged during the last primaries and consensus exercises remained the confirmed names sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He said the party had no intention of substituting any flag bearer in order to maintain the existing unity amongst members.

He therefore urged members of the party to always disregard rumours and hearsays capable of breeding rancour within the society, pointing out that they should rather take advantage of the open door policy of the party and seek clearance on issues obscure to them.
