âHarry Potterâ actress reveals life-changing amount of money sheâs made from 0nlyF@ns

Jessie Cave, the actress best known for playing Lavender Brown in the final three “Harry Potter” films, has revealed that her 0nlyF@ns account has earned her more money in a year than her entire acting career. Cave, 39, made the revelation in a recent interview with The Times, saying: “I’ve earned more, easily, than my entire acting career within one year.”
The actress, who joined the platform last year, said she earned £15,000, more than $20,000, in a single day. Cave said she charges subscribers $6 a month but makes additional income through paid messages. She described the earnings as life-changing, saying the money had “saved” her and her family.
“I thought I’d make five grand, be on it for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do,” she said. “But it’s now been over a year and a half and it’s genuinely saved our lives.” Cave said she turned to the platform after reaching “a point of complete desperation” because of a lack of acting opportunities.
The actress, who shares four children with longtime partner Alfie Brown, said the financial pressures of childcare also made traditional employment difficult. “I couldn’t go and, say, work in a supermarket because I can’t afford the childcare, and also I don’t want people shouting ‘Harry Potter’ spells at me as I work at Tesco,” she said.

“I could retrain but I can’t afford to do a degree,” Cave added. “I had a breakdown and I thought, that’s it with acting, I give up. But also we have no money.” Cave said her 0nlyF@ns content is focused on hair and that she sometimes dresses as Lavender Brown for subscribers. She stressed that she remains fully clothed in the content.
“My rule is the hair is the main character,” she said. “It’s literally about hair: the texture of hair. The fetish. It’s very, very niche.” Cave also spoke about the personal impact of the platform, saying she had previously felt overlooked after becoming a mother.
“For so long I’ve just been this quirky figure,” she said. “After having four kids and feeling invisible for so long that was really appealing to me.” The actress said the unexpected success of the platform has provided her with a significant new source of income while allowing her to continue creating content on her own terms.
